I specialize in accesssorize. I love jewelry and all the things to adorn yourself with so I do have a tendency to make more along those lines. However I have a degree in fashion design and production so I will sew and alter things often as the interest strikes. Vintage holds a very special place for me, pinup and retro styling is regularly on display on the racks as well as in my creations.

“what is icktome?”

According to Navajo Legends, Icktome (pronounced ick toe me) is grandmother spider. Her sacred duty was to carry the world on her back and protect it, to give mother earth a safe place she created the stars in the sky; she spun a beautiful web laced it with dew, threw it into the sky and the dew shone and became the stars. 

To me, Icktome is a creator; a master of beauty and protection: an energy of fun and inspiration.
