Icktome Designs was founded by Elise Beatty after she graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from San Diego’s Fashion Careers College in 2008. Since then, Elise has accumulated over 15+ years experience in all things fashion, design, and crafting. Including and not limited to: patterning, costuming, beading, sewing, draping, crocheting, knitting, painting, henna, leatherwork, jewelry, soldering, welding, woodworking, hat making, stained glass, polymer clay, and sculpting. It’s just excessive honestly…
In 2017, Elise and her family relocated to Yavapai County, Arizona with the dream of homesteading and building their own home. In the biggest (and bumpiest) adventure yet, she continues to pick up a wide variety of macgyver skills alongside her husband, on a learning journey of self-sustainability.
Since settling down in the Yavapai countryside, she’s taught classes on sewing, partnered with local renaissance fair vendors for period realistic designs, and managed to stockpile a wide variety of creative and truly talented people.
In 2022, she took the leap and bought a rugged box trailer and converted it into a mobile boutique, partnering with local events to do mini “pop-ups”. Her goal is to expand into the event sphere.
She spends most of her free time managing a homestead of feral beasts and kiddos, growing gardens and children. Trying to find a balance in surviving and creating a fabulous life!
